Jan signals the start of our club nets (jan 7th) can't wait, another season is just over the horizon ;) When does everyone else club nets start?
-
Ours Start on Friday 9th, can't wait to get back to (sort of) playing again!
-
First net for my new club on the 7th Jan, feels like Christmas all over again been checking I have all my kits ready to net with over the coming weeks to see what I get on with and like out of this winters purchases
-
Wish my lot were as keen as you boys; 1st Feb is my first club net, I'm chomping at the bit already!
-
Thursday 8th
-
Wednesday 7th for us can't wait.
-
first actually club net is 14th of jan.
But a select few off us(about 9) have probably had a net or indoor game every week since the season finished.
-
End of feb I think as anything more than 6-8 weeks people get bored and we have 3 lanes due to the size of club excluding juniors
-
How long does your net sessions last for.
Ours is usually an hour.
Official nets start end of feb.
-
I think ours are 8-9 with 3 lanes this year. That's 1st-6th team plus the Academy players (says a lot about the expected turn out...)

4 lanes for u17s and senior team players 7.45 till 9.15
Juniors u15s and below have 6.45-7.45 before us, again 4 lanes.
We get a half decent turn out, unless a local football team is playing. Then we just end up using 3 lanes.

I think ours will be the same.

Our senior nets are wed 8-9pm 4 teams 3 lanes, then beers after. We are also arranging an additional 1st team weekly net session due to demand.
-
I think the club nets start late feb, 5 lanes, once a week for 2 hours.
However, other than oct ive not really stopped netting a few times a week and starting last week I'm doing individual sessions vs a Sommerset 2nds bowler, prem 1 bowler and a spinner, just so I'm used to facing live bowlers. They are working on things themselves so it's mutually beneficial.
I get good quality pace bowling, knowing they won't constantly bounce me (odd one or two to keep you honest) and they get someone batting properly against them, rather than biffing or playing on the up etc
-
Not sure when ours start I can't wait for it. Just a shame we have rubbish turnout
-
I toyed with the idea of running training nets where anyone could drop in. Basically have proper sessions at actually train specific things etc. Make the schedule known and then people can pick and choose which sessions to attend depending on what they wanted to learn.
Always wondered if it would get much take up

I think ours start at the end of feb. After missing all of last years pre season nets and always playing catch up I can't wait for them to start
-
19th jan...can't wait for the lads trying to knock my head off from 17yards.
