Anybody know the weight difference between the single bar steel and the single titanium
£60 difference
I very got old steel and it's about 140gr heavier which I don't notice

Approx 200g i believe.

I've heard this, that is a significant weight difference IMO. Anyone who is using the new Masuri Vision series, does it feel noticeably heavier than the precious models? Are they comfortable?

The vision series are noticeably heavier than the old models yes. The difference between a Ti and a Steel isn't as drastic as the 200g scale weight sounds though.

Yes there is a weight difference between the old style Masuri and the new Vision Series and it is noticeable, but that is because the new helmets are considerably better in terms of safety.

We have a video on our YouTube channel that looks at the whole Vision Series and also discusses weights between the various models.

Did I notice the weight difference.. Yes when off, no when on and batting..


Is it worth the price hike?? No, but that's thr times we live in im afraid, prices will keep rising as people want to make more and more dosh out of us.

Done and ordered not much difference when on and it's not like I bat for 50 overs so steel for me as I soon get shot of it when quicks are of....the fit with the wheel is a big improvement I just got the single bar version
Full review Friday after club nets on Thursday

Used it tonight at vitas changed my mind and plumped for titanium version
Noticeably heavier than my old test steel grill with reduced vision but does encourage you to keep head very still
Which is a good thing yes...? Will have to fiddle to get correct fit I removed chin cup and have strap under chin but no worries about using it going forward

Did you try the double bar before picking up the single bar? Any thoughts?

No but apparently it has 4mm more vision but was £40 more so that put me off as well as not liking the look as much

I've got the double bar vision series elite (steel) and I love it, yes there is the weight difference but i think the price point is fine for the one i got was/is certainly justified by how often is think the grille was in the way on the old one as well as the additional protection that you get... I'm sure either one that you go for will be worth it!
