As the subject really, bought an original Ayrtek (not new but secondhand off Ebay) last season and while it's perfectly serviceable, it does look a bit scruffy. If so, what's the cost?
-
This doesn't give you any motivation does it? :D

We do offer the service still yes, is it just the shell that needs refurbishing or is the liner in need of replacement too?
-
if you get a refurb can you have a different colour to the original?
-
Yeh we can flip colours if desired 👍

I think the inner part is fine although I do find myself occasionally involved in some mid-innings pumping. Is that normal?
-
Yeh it may lose some air gradually over a period of time, we can have a look and check it over when u send it back though to make sure all is as it should be.

What's the cost for a refurb or and repaint?
-
£30 for a shell refurb/colour flip inc return P&P and £45 for a full refurb with new liner too.
-
Just packing mine up to be sent to you Tom :)

I do like the idea of having a bright orange helmet :-)

Pertch Scortchers Orange always viable 👍

That's good to know if I ever move move teams and need a new colour, it'll save me trying to look for clubs that wear maroon!

-
Will be about 10 days typically, got quite a busy week this week as u can imagine going back after the break but get it back to us and I'll do what I can to sort it.

May be off topic but didn't want to create a new thread for a simple question.
I just bought a Ayrtek Elite off ebay in presumed "New" condition and I wasn't able to find any thing related to this model on Ayrtek website. Though this looks very similar in terms of function to RawTek as it also has a air pump system, Is there a major difference between the two other than the looks?

Its prob an Ayrtek Premier helmet that was discontinued with the intro of the adidas models.
They feature a plastic shell on them rather than the carbon fibre one thats used on the RawTek model but the liner is the same.

this is the same as what @Ayrtek mentioned. its a model from the range before adidas became involved. all the helmets originally had the ACIS pump system
