Evening chaps,
Anyone go to,or been to the open nets at the Worcestershire Cricket centre? I see they do open net sessions for 4 quid for 90 minutes. My club nets don't usually start till march and to be honest I fancy getting some extra practice in, lord knows I could do with it!
Just wondering if anyone had any experience and if it's worthwhile going?

Where in Worcester is the cricket centre ?
-
It's based at Prince Henry High in Evesham

I thought that was the one it is an excellent facility a teammate coaches there on a one to one basis.
-
Yeah I saw the coaching option, though at £26 for an hour of 121 coaching wasnt too bad.
-
Not been to the open nets but I have used it for some training on a machine. Know the chap in charge of it, he's a good guy and plays for Pershore
-
How much do they charge for an hour on the machine? Might have to go take a look to get some ideas

"Individual one to one coaching is available at £26 per hour lesson with the option of video analysis."
Presume they'd use a bowling machine for at least some of the hour.

26 full stop? Or 26 plus x amount for lane hire? 26 all in seems really cheap

Just taking the info from their website which to be honest isn't the best. I did email them earlier for more info but it's bounced back.

Facebook is probably your better bet. I know the chap is always active on his own FB account so I imagine he runs the Worcestershire cricket centre one too

I'm not on facebook and it appears the page is viewable at the moment. Will try and email in the week and keep an eye on the website to see if anything changes when the school reopens.
