It's friday afternoon so a bit of fun.
Scenario - It's your last ever match and you can use any bat of your choice.....what's your chosen weapon?
Mine is a full profile Kook Kahuna ala Pontings bat. My mate had one of his rejects and it went like (no swearing please)!
I'm walking out with that.
-
Kicking Horse - 'Long Schlong' - never seen a weapon so huge!
Virtually none left in the world now sadly.
-
Probably one of those new Aldred Spectre's
-
1271 profile all day every day no bat has a coverage like it
-
"That" bat Sachin used.
If even a smidgen of his talent came with it you'd be in for a Biggun!

Dave Warners current match bat :D
-
Mongoose MMI3. Go out with a bang!
-
Anything from Kember
-
My Uzi pro its a huge weapon :)
-
Newbery Excalibur - a statement of intent just walking out to the middle with it.
-
On of the old bats my dad used to own - a Stuart Surridge or Lillywhite's.
Failing that, any of the tiny bats from the 30s or 40s. Just to see what I could do with one, and go out in my final game with a bit of old school elegance.
If one was good enough for Bradman, Hammond, Hobbs, Hutton, it's good enough for me.
-
SS Turbo pre the 333
-
The old newbery C6+ with the carbon handle
-
Either my Affinity custom or a Hellfire
-

I will second that.
-
My CA SM-18, by far the best bat I have ever owned.
-
I'd dig out the bat that's stashed in my loft. I've kept it for sentimental reasons since it's the only bat that I've ever raised to celebrate scoring a ton. I suspect it'll be the only bat to ever do that! Perhaps, just one last time it may do it again...

That's a good answer!

An eye in bat. Go hard or go home.
-
I'd find a combat and take it out for my last ever innings.
-
As a wish, My old hollow core GN Ultimate 1000. Best bat I have ever owned. Too bad it's dried out.
-
One of the 2 bet bats I've ever owned, Nixon a Thunder or Gray Nicolls Sabre 750. Still have the Nixon but unfortunately the Sabre split badly. Been trawling Ebay and alike for a good condition Sabre 750 or 1000 ever since! Mentioned already on here but also always fancied a retro SS Turbo or Jumbo.
-
one of Virat Kholi's bats please.
-
A big 3lb bat. Would be fun
-
My current bat- 3lb 7oz Warsop, absolute gun! The ball hits the middle of this bat and you literally cannot feel the impact, its like a trampoline!
-
Screaming Cat period.

Or an unusually flexible roof beam. ???
-
i'd be tempted by my first proper bat which i hope is still somewhere in the attic it was some hunts county bat. if not that probably my mongoose i love batting with it
-
My Symonds Super Tusker. Still have it and use it indoors as its only 2lb 7oz. First bat I bought with my own money from working in a hotel aged 17 back in 1988 and with which I scored by first 50. Great bat!

Quality willow. I like it

The old Robin Smith GN Powerspot. I had one at about the same time, absolutely loved it.
