Amazing grain, is it the sulphur profile again?
I think that is becoming my favourite
-
It is indeed mate i bring mine down you can have a hit with it
-
No, I'd hate to smash the outside edge with a horrible waft outside off stump, :)
-
How much would a bat like that set you back then? Love the look of it.

400 or thereabouts I think, to be fair you wouldn't expect anything less in that price range.
Gorgeous bats, all the crown ones I have seen here.

Crowns are now £500

This is a amazing design and will be my third crowne.
Come on Dave, find me a low density grainy cleft [emoji4]
-
just sold one better looking than this for £225 but not the same size .......... which is where the true value is in these bats
these bats are massive for their size and very rare pieces of willow, hence the price

Don't ask Garret for pics, we don't want him getting in trouble for sharing lovely willow ;) lol

Glad people like it also you got to rememeer we can do something nobody on the open market can can we make exactly what you want in the size and weight you want to your exact demands.
As we are one of the bigger willow users in the Uk market we roughtly get as much good as some of the big boys yet the "crown is very hard to come by".
As you can see this bat is 2-8 on the nose 41mm edges and around 65mm spine and zero concaving until you get to the duckbill.
It is no overdried it is naturally low density.
I'm glad many like it i also understand it a pricy bit of kit but our bats start at £150 and we do sell very good butterfly once a year at a great price to. We offer something for eveybody what i will say is when your buying if it from us ask about what density is in your grade because low density is not just at the top grades either.
Thanks to all that looked i hope you like it..
Bats this big do not grow on trees you ask around other makers the size and weight we are just lucky we buy so many clefts we actually get a chance for a few of these and we do not advertise these "crowns" really just when people ask

hmmm... the profile looks very similar to yours truly's ;)

Nope mate this is one of Streaky mate. It is based on two current players profiles both different mate.
This is much fuller pal this is this profile with a little hint of concaving to get it a little lighter than picture below .

Out of curiosity are crown clefts graded as such by willow supplier or you guys.

They are graded by us from the clefts we get. We are looking at around 10-20 a year if we are lucky.
3 things make a crown.
Density
Looks
Inital Playability (which i have to be honest is beyond me streaky does that stuff with Gav i think they all sound good).

this season he got 900 runs now his dad is a level 3 coach and he has worked hard but glad the lad doing well and enjoying his cricket again.
