Title: Club Pro's 2015
Post by: arsenal123 on January 28, 2015, 01:36:04 PM
Who is your clubs pro for this coming season?  If you have one that is!

Anyone significant playing in your league this year?  I see Tim Paine is in the Home Counties Prem, bit of a scalp to potentially pick up!

There was me thinking Banbury might rebuild their burnt down Pavilion. Surprised they have the money.

It wasn't when I went to the Carvery next door, about 2 weeks ago. Typical big club mentality, lets make our 3/4th XI get changed in a field or at best a portakabin while we use their subs/match fees to subsidise some star for the first team.

Banbury look to have also saved a fair bit of £££ in players leaving from recent reports in the local rag

Wonder if he is charging a lot or if the Aussie Board are part funding it in order for him to be in the Uk during the ashes.

Thats a good shout... Possibly the later. Also, do Banbury have a history of signing big name players?

Wouldnt surprise me, especially as I think it was Banbury that had Agar for the season in 2013, and he then got called up to the Ashes.

The tax return deadline of this month relates to anything up to the end of the 13/14 financial year (so ending 5th April or something like that) doing it now wouldnt effect your immediate return

Dan Christian played for Bromley in the Kent Prem last year, no idea if he is returning or not. Shaun Tait was also rumoured to be playing a few games but never happened. Usually a few pros kicking about in Kent so will keep an an ear out

Our keeper is our pro. His payment currently consists of charity shop tapes of children's books but in no particular order. So he has to keep playing if he wants to catch them all. (Yes pokemon reference).
