This was a surprise xmas present from my wife - a grade 1 Toro. She's a keeper (my wife I mean).
It is the same Toro that featured on Affinity's Instagram account just prior to xmas.
Thanks go to wickets-then-runs who organised the details with Marcus.
Although I have quite a few short blade bats I felt that the pickup was a little too heavy for me. I can use bats this heavy but only if they pick up like a feather.
I had the toe of the bat rounded and toe guard removed which reduced the weight by half an ounce.
This doesn't sound like much but it has made a massive difference to the pickup and feel.
The weight including extratec and fibreglass tape is now 2.11.4

Now that's as nice as my Toro!
If it plays anywhere near as good as mine, you will pee a few bowlers off this season
-
One if the nicest shorter blade bats I've seen, looks loaded with boundaries :)

Lovely looking bat! I've just given mine a light refurb ready for next season. Why did you go for the round toe?
-
Sorry, just read you had the toe rounded!!

Nice looking stick. Pretty gutted I never got myself a toro.
