Title: B3 netbat clone

So based on the founding theory of the forum that one bat is never enough, I came up with a reason to get another B3.
Thought it'd be a good idea to get a net/wet weather clone of a custom shape Crown willow bat that Streaky and the boys made for me a few months back.
So after chatting again to the good doctor, he dug out the original CAD profile he had stored, amended it due to the higher density willow that would be used for the netbat, and the boys went to work. For £100, I'm very chuffed. It's beginning to tap up well, but it isn't immediately as pingy off the mallet as its glam twin.

Interestingly, they pretty much weigh the same at the moment - the Crown has taken up nearly an ounce in moisture!  :o

I imagine the netbat will start to gain a bit of weight as well, though.
