Title: Branding
Post by: arsenal123 on February 10, 2015, 12:21:27 PM
Simple one to ponder on...

If you were to come up with your own cricket brand what would you call it?

I do not know a name, but something with the tag line, 'who knew spanking some leather could be so much fun'. Or why has nobody done just 'Cricket Stuff' ( I know copy write etc) but it could just be the simplest brand in the world. They have shape 1, 2, 3, 10 Basically Low, mid, high, Custom/oversized. They sell pads, 1, 2, 3, with levels of protection etc. Nothing fancy, just simple. And never use any acronyms or annoying marketing speak, 'We make bats and they are good', 'our pads will stop the ball in an adequate fashion so you are not hurt and can remain playing cricket'

Southampton? Noticed it the other weekend when I went down for the footy, looked shady as (No Swearing Please)! Didn't realise it was a titty bar though...

Over the top.

3 lines of bats.

The FTB - flat track bully
Biffer!

Both carry garish loud colours, big edges, massive spines toes etc.

And lastly.

The boring. small edge and spine, with dull brown stickering.

will you be doing an umpires range with shooting stick with built in ashtray and mobile charger for the square leg umpire?

@Buzz good idea, I like it.

The umpires coat will also include a button operated false arm and trigger finger that can only be activated after tea and when payment has been recieved.  This arm will speed up as bingo start time draws closer and also when it's getting cold
