Although not a regular poster on here I am a regular reader and I have been following B3's development with some interest. When my old bat gave in a few weeks ago it gave me the perfect excuse to try a B3 for myself! I have found the level of customer service amazing, from the first e-mail through the factory visit and to the finally bat arriving.
I went down there a good idea of what I wanted but Streaky still took the time to show me how bat mapping works and to explain to me the whole process. I spent a while looking through various shapes but kept going back to one shape (Trott profile) that I thought was amazing and yet picked up so well for the amount of wood in it.
Anyway this is what was waiting for me when I got home from work today

As you can see it has 7/8 grains going straight through the toe, probably only a G2 due to the small blemish on the face. Zero concaving as asked for. Weighs in at 2'10.5 but picks up as well as my Warsop which is 2'8. Been bouncing an old ball on it and the response is really impressive!! Once again a massive thank you to Streaky and all the guys at B3 :)

Looks a belter. Hope it plays aswell as mine does for you.

I get a bit confused with the B3 pricing.
This is a stored profile for them I believe? So if you have a 4 digit profile reference, how much is a 2 stripe?
-
At that weight I suspect it a variation of the 1271 profile so bespoke as it 2-10 and a 400 is 2-10 and a half so not stored
As for prices Bruce

Or a very light grade 2 which is a advantage of going down and sniffing one out

Lovely bat I got one the initial batch for the player in question and pick up is indeed very good hope it goes well for you looks a belter
-
So would my Duckbill shape be a custom or a bespoke?
-
Custom now if you wanted exact same size mate
-
Lovely looking bat there. I do like those clear stickers.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but is anyone able to confirm the CAD number for this profile as it looks away too light to be a standard 1271, I'm considering this shape for the 50% discount
-
Gelds could give you the code it not a standard 1271 it modified to the weight he wanted.
-
@Gelds could you please confirm the code and once we have that please could @The Doctor Streaky confirm what weight that would be in a 400 cleft
-
I'm liking this as a realistic alternative to the 1271. Think it could be this or the Tonto depending on 400 density weights.

Exactly my thinking, the standard 1271 is way too heavy for me but if this is using the standard 400 density then it could be the one!
-
I've seen this bat in the flesh chaps and a great alternative if you can't wield (or find a light cleft) in the JT profile
-
That is a lovely profile. it will come to life after play in and be amazing. Great purchase. Hope you got the bat cover. Their Bat bags and bat cover are really nice and heavy duty.
-
whatttttttt....no Super spine..no Monster edges..no duck bill toe...no thin shoulders.....such an undesirable bat ;)
This is though close to or may be a perfect shape..reminds me of my first blank bat
Enjoi you bat....score tonns of runs
-
lovely profile!!

The code for this bat is 3260. No idea what the density is but I'm sure streaky will be able to advise.
Although not a super sized bat it has a nice long middle and goes well!
-
Next question is then what is the weight for a 400 density cleft in the 3260 shape @procricket B3
-
Yes no problem 3260 will be 2-13 at 400
