Boys of 92 weren't bad:-

They were robbed by weather saving Pakistan from elmination, and an inspired Pakistan in the final. Injuries towards the end didn't help either and they perhaps they peaked too early.
Daffy at 10 in the batting. A wily seam attack and a host of exciting allrounders for the time.
Just wish we had more of this now.

Actually, I will caveat my above post by saying wtf was Pringle doing in that team. He did very well at the 92 WC but he made Botham look like lightening around the field. His batting had seem better days and he was nothing more than medium by then. Clever enough to knock over a few people though.

Pringle was a canny bowler in the game as it was then. He - like Beefy of that era - would get absolutely smashed nowadays.
