Title: Heel Pail!
Post by: cheese on February 22, 2015, 03:30:36 PM
Afternoon chaps!
When bowling in the nets on Tuesday I felt some pain in my left heel upon impact during the delivery stride!
Now I know I can't get the exact explanation from you guys but I was wondering if any of the factors I've come up with sound like a correct cause of pain...
I was wearing a pair of Nike running shoes so it could be just they don't offer the correct cushioning for my foot...
Is it that I'm running in on a hard laminated wood floor and the hardness of the floor is putting to much stress through the heel?
As a quick(ish) bowler do I need specific bowling boots to help my feet all round?
Any ideas or suggestions welcome...
Thanks
Ollie

I had this when wearing shoes that were a tad to big(and trying to compensate with more socks)

Supporting insouls helped alleviate this. But since buying shoes with a nice tight fit. I haven't had it since.
