Close LBW, caught on a no ball, caught on free hit...it was his day. First double of the world cup. He is a real bully when it comes to minnows.

Just been watching a little of this on the train into work, he certainly still has it. Although playing against a lesser nation (although possible little difference between these two teams) his timing and power is still incredible. Just makes you wonder why none of our players in England can bat this way?? 200 in a  50 over game is one heck of a result

Ah ok. Not having pay tv and checking scores on cricinfo only ever tells half the story. Mind you most batsmen have some degree of luck during a big innings.

Keen on seeing some close matches in the World Cup. One sided Drubbings get boring after a while!

I feel he could have had Rohit's record or a triple had Samuels not ate up all those dots. They have been very bad at strike rotation.

200 against any team is not easy. Gayle feasts on medium pacers like this.

Amazing stuff from gayle particularly after what the West Indies chairman tweeted. That's one way of showing him.

If a batter (opening batsman) with his big muscles and power can't hit big sixes like that, he should consider another line of work. Big whup really.

always a risk not having him in your fantasy team. Eventually he will score.

Had both gayle and Samuels with gayle as my power player :)
