Post by: Howzat on July 14, 2008, 04:14:09 PM
Wow this sounds interesting to say the least! A test match which has no allotted time limit!

Last one ever played lasted 2 weeks!

England played one of these in South Africa (I think) but had to leave on around the seventh day to catch the boat home.

Would always get a result though Leo. How many people would actually go and watch for however long it would go on for.

I think most player in today's cricket world wouldnt be able to bat for 500 balls or ball 60 overs an innings. And even if the test went on for 7 days, most wouldn't be able to cope up physically.

If it was still around i think teams would be filled with a few more allrounders instead of just batsman and bowlers.
