I might be being thick but what sort of grip is this and how is it applied?

Just a ribbed grip. Nothing new, apply'd with a cone

Tried these once bought one from Romida . . .didn't like it, better using 2 normal grips

No its a grip which you dont need a grip cone to apply it with, it slips onto the bat
