Having checked different threads I feel this post will be fine!
We have recently launched a part time business venture of www.stickers4stumps.bigcartel.com (http://www.stickers4stumps.bigcartel.com)
Finding ourselves bored in the off season, we completed several different projects. Then we came onto personalised stumps, having found a sponsor. We considered using the market leader. But this would have let us very little money from the sponsorship package.
Therefore we designed, printed and fitted our own quality product and we have now decided to launch a small business. Amateur cricket players supplying to the cricketing world!
Be great to know any thoughts.
Clubs have successfully used us in conjunction with sponsors and this has given the sponsor a cricket related product with name and logo on which they are able to see, it gains the clubs a set of stumps and a cash boost for minimal effort. We have seen clubs gain stump sponsorship of up to £250, this giving the club good margins on monies raised.
I hope this post is not against forum rules!! If it is I do apologise.

advertising and not a sponsor.. tut tut

That said I have seen others do it in certain threads.

Pimp my stump are the daddies in my eyes

They are the leading Name.
I will post a comparison pic, nothing in the product! Just in the price!

Any pictures of what you do? I might be interested in some

So you guys are basically the same as Pimp my stump, but cheaper? I dont really know much about them either
A bit more info on what you do would maybe be helpful, my club could be interested, or I'd like them to be anyway

Never ever black and white. Most companies are advertised in one way or another on this forum, it's when it descends into an outright sales pitch as opposed to an "FYI we are setting up". It's also a fairly unique proposition and the choice compared to pimp my stumps is welcome. All forum members have a right to be informed. Will check with other admin to be on the safe side.

It also doesn't seem to be an idea that takes business away from the paying sponsors.
So it shouldn't really upset anyone that matters.

Hi Saunders
Thanks for that..... Having looked through various posts I thought it looked the way things are done.
