Post by: tejasapatel on March 03, 2015, 06:10:51 PM
I do not understand sunglasses the stuff like tint required for cricket and so on.

But which one of these two would be better for cricket?

Sorry if this has been discussed before or is a dumb question.

So here is the reason for the question. I saw a decent deal on these this morning.

Red or white ball?

I have used a blue shade of Oakleys for many years for white ball. Love it.

Also works very well with Pink and red. I have used it with all 3..there are some designed specifically for red ball but I find them not very helpful with other colors. Basically anything that will enhance blue will help with white or pink

The best for all cricket and life, Ray Ban Wayfarer. Playing white ball cricket, you can see it fine and look good while doing it. For me, shiny crazy, ultra high tech sunglasses are a bit of a waste. They are principally there to shield your eyes from the sun and other benefits are perceived to post justify the outlay for some 300 pound oakleys. But thats just me, I did also accidentally buy two pairs when I lost one pair for over a year, bought another pair and then 2 days later found the original :(

Dont get your argument for cost - Ray Bans are about £100/£150 and you can easily get Oakleys for that same price and cheaper?
