Specs

Edge size 40mm
Spine height 63mm
Weight in its current state 2lb10.5

Performance
It's hard to judge a brand new bat on performance of I'm honest, as a "plank" can open up and become a gun over time.

This one taps up the old ball fairly well, with the bottom 2 inches being dead. It taps up nicely from there to just under the Master sticker. Despite the concaving the sweetspot is nice and wide, so should be forgiving to off centre shots.
I'll be able to judge better after she's been knocked in.

Finishing
I love the stickers! That's why I wanted a master!
Very nice, well polished and beautifully smooth all over.
The TON stamps may not appeal to everyone but I like them.

Handle
Nice and thin, almost semi oval at the bottom (feels nice and not perfectly round).
The binding isn't perfect but that's an SS quirk.
Definitley no nails present!

Service
Everyone has been on the back of OLS recently.
I got pictures of the actual bats sent to me, and the details I'd asked for.
All questions were answered quickly, I ordered the bat Tuesday and received it this morning, great product and a great service.

I can only judge on my own experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend OLS.

How many is that now?!

Ripple grip - GM
Black on white background logos - GM
Aqua colouring - GM
Logo pattern - GM
Go faster stripes - Gray Nics
(Let's not hitch our wagon to the SS vs TON train...)

And they keep the sharpie TON logo  ;)!   It's not for me mate but I bet your like a kid in a sweet shop!  Look forward to the full review...

In answer to the questions

How many is that now? I have 2 SSs and 3 bats in total for the season. I sell to buy now to avoid having a stupid number.

How much did I pay? £97 posted

"Brilliant profile" I personally agree, but those who don't like concaving may have a fit! I'll get a picture of that when I get home.

Never heard of this one..even SS site doesn't have it
It does have the new sticker design - similar to Sanagakkara's bat with the SS<< design in front
More confusion from SS branding
So what are her vital stats ?

Oiled, extra half layer of binding added and knobbly bits added to the top of the handle.

Just need to knock her in and apply a scuff sheet now  :)

Exactly what I thought as well. A good looking bat, I like the decals too, subtle change from usual SS/TON stickers.

@abdulwq not at all mate. Mine now weights 2lb12 (after adding a 2nd layer of binding, a scuf sheet and knobbly bits to the handle)
It picks up nicely and is very well balanced. Not bottom heavy at all in my opinion.

Lovely Looking bat that as some may know I have a soft spot for Jatin brand looks a quality stick Cam as usual from Sareen.

I like the stickers and I have seen the special "s" embossed ones too very nice indeed great sareen collection you got goin on pal

Cheers Dave

I only actually have this and the LinitedEedition now as I sold the Yuvi to fund this purchase. Im inflicting a 3 bat rule on myself so I don't end up with as many unused as I did last year!  :-[
I'm glad that I did sell the Yuvi for this because as nice a bat (and shape) as the Yuvi was, it was a touch heavy for me, whereas this is spot on weight wise, being almost the same as my match bat (and better balanced)

I really like these stickers, much less busy than the other offerings from SS.

Question regarding the knobbly bit on the top of the handle.. What do you use for that and is it true that it improves the balance and pick up of the bat?

I use two bits of cut up octopus grip for mine (cutting them up is the best thing for octopus grips in my opinion)

As for improving the balance and pick up I have no clue to be honest, I only do it so I know where I'm holding the bat

It's been buffing me for a couple of days, but I was sure the shape was familiar. I realised today that it looks like the Kook ccx.

If someone had been buffing me for two days, I wouldn't be worrying about bat shapes - I'd be stretched out on the sofa expecting more.

This one is 2.9, had another one made for Indian captain, but was heavy (2.11) for me even though it was lighter than his usual. Still have those pics and amaze me every-time I look at them.

Had the first net with my master today. When I took it out of its bat sleeve my mate said "the Middle on that looks huge"

It picks up nicely and Pings well out the middle, with a nice forgiving hitting zone.

First ball I faced with it did slightly improve the pickup though!

(http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/bb450/CPye061194/CFE74CD8-1714-439D-8596-AFF80C963967_zpstbseloxu.jpg) (http://s1206.photobucket.com/user/CPye061194/media/CFE74CD8-1714-439D-8596-AFF80C963967_zpstbseloxu.jpg.html)

That may be a blessing in disguise though as I get a better look at the grains!

Looks a great stick @WalkingWicket37. Just amazes me the relaxed approach when it comes to branding and copyright on designs of labels nowadays , as its extremely six6 in decals. Hope it goes well for you.

I guess it depends on GM, if they have copyrighted their colour schemes then it is likely that would seek to stop SS/Ton selling those particular 'decals' in the UK market.  The cost to protect IP in the UK is actually very low (relative to legal action in general).  However, they may struggle to prevent SS selling these particular 'decals' in the Indian market (or on Indian websites) ...

Nice stick WalkingWicket37, looks the goods (unbelievable value for 97 quid).
