@RF nice cheeky little purchase there mate. That will definitely serve you well.

I've given up knocking this in now, I was hitting it with a pretty big mallet and it felt hard, there are no indentations or marks on the bat at all.
I started using a ball out of curiosity and it really springs off the middle already. It's only going to get better when I start using it properly.
Anyway that's not the point, what I wanted to say is that this bat came to me ready to play, I think if you need a bat during the season and you haven't got time to knock it in try B3

I got my B3 yesterday from the aussie clearance and gave it another light oil yesterday on top of the one they do at B3. Today I grabbed the LV mallet and started the knocking in process. Edges were already rounded, but appear to need a little bit more work. I can make a few dents on the face but it is pretty much ready to go. As we just finished our season here I'll probably do the edges, toe and face out of sheer boredom.
I'd have to agree with you that they are excellently pressed and i say this having knocked in about 10 bats in the past couple of months.

There looked like some good deals in that clearance, my little bro is in Aus at the moment, I was thinking about asking him to bring one back.
If you fancy a game my club is only a flight or two away

Little update
Squeezed in a quick net last and had my first hit with the new bat.
Wow, so impressed. It's hard to describe because it feels really stiff but the ball flys off even when you don't hit the middle.
This is a lot different to my other bats, they feel soft and sweet when you hit the middle with them. My 2 match bats are still really good but the B3 is on another level. It must be the pressing.
I'll probably buy another B3 next time I need a bat.

Looks a great stick! I got mine from B3 about a month ago and it absolutely flies:) They're definitely doing something right at B3!!

I have got three crowns in the space of 8 to 9 months and one crowne is getting better than the other. I have been dealing with Dave since I got my first crown, and has been very helpful and honest to any question I ask him. B3 are hitting heights and no doubt when it comes to service and quality of clefts to the final finished product. Keep up the good work B3.

The grains are stunning :)
