Title: In Quest of a Big Profile

Thought to post some pictures of a slightly different profile. Tried to gain a big profile with some concaving with weight at 2.7 without binding/ grips.

Looks big, what specs did you end up with. Photography great as ever and the bat isn't too shabby either!

very nice shape. must be a light cleft to get so much wood in the profile

 Thanks. Just completed the binding, this bat will end up between 2.9 and 2.10.

To be honest, it's the magic of concaving. Probably the first time, I have tried it.
It does give a big profile to a bat.

So what edge and spine size is it? How much concaving?

37 mm edge / 65 mm spine.

Far from a fan of the duckbill style,(the wickets I play on are very low bounce), but that is just lovely
It looks like it tapers up slightly towards the bottom

Love the pics. Not sure if the sharp tapering of spine in the end will become a weak point for the bat. Again just a thought, as a batmaker would be interesting to get your insight.

As long as the toe has a decent thickness and is knocked in well, it shouldn't be a problem.
