Title: Bags for keepers
Post by: 91wb11 on March 15, 2015, 10:17:06 PM
Just putting it out there what other keepers use bag wise??? I've had a GN duffle and a normal hold all for whites, training kit and towel. Looking to get a bag big enough for all kit along with keeping gear without pain in the rear two bag jobby! Open to suggestions outside of Aero tour as heard and seen build quality is quite poor

Red ink wheelie and duffle are both big enough for all your kit. Wheelie pics are in the red ink section I think and duffle I can sort some pics out.

I had the aero tour which as you say was rubbish, got the newbery tour which i couldn't get used to. Last season used the Adidas England duffle with an additional holdall for clothes. That's been the best I've had for a while but still not completely content with it and the extra holdall is annoying, but it took up a lot less room than other bags. Looking for another bag for this season though. Finding it really had to find a bag that I like and can get all my kit in.
How much kit do you carry? Just the basics or lots of extras. I think im goign to scale down how much I lug about but usually i have:
2 Bats, batting pads, 3 batting gloves, 3 keeping gloves, bag of keeping inners, keeping pads, helmet, bag of bits and bobs, 1 pair trainers, towel, 2 sets of whites (shirts and trousers), set of training kit, strippers, bat cone.
Luckily this year I wont have bag of spare balls, scorebooks and all the other captaincy extras.

Hell if I was carrying all that I'd have a samsonite with extra luggage allowance :o don't have too much really but I do have the newbery tour pads (under trouser ones) so don't pack flat like batting pads do, mainly reason why I've ripped my duffle trying to ram everything in and close it in anger after most games last season!!will take a look at the red ink ones thanks

I'm in the same boat but looking for a duffle to fit all my batting and keeping kit.
Thinking either the M&H CK22, GM duffle, TON duffle, or the new H4L duffle.

I have just got the new Kookaburra Pro Players duffle. After watching a few video reviews it looks well organised and big enough for keeping kit etc...

Hi mate I've just got a red ink bag myself, I can safely say it's the best bag I've ever owned and ive had quite a few. It's big, durable, plenty of pockets, well organised, looks great and the bat caves are incredible.
Personally I'm not a WK but I assure you space won't be an issue!

Ton Duffle I use mate it's perfect fits all my kit plus has padded bat pockets, and stands up in changing room easily

I posted a thread a while back about the new Kookaburra Pro Players duffle - got more in it than the pro players wheelie bag
