My non expert initial opinion is that she's a goner because of the area round the shoulder that's snapped off with the handle.
If anyone knows otherwise please prove me wrong!
I love SS/TON but will now be paranoid that the handle will fly our of mine haha

Thought so and me too mate, slightly gutted, served me well but im gutted!!

Depends how much you love the bat but surely a person repairing it with the right gear could lob off 1/2 inch, re V, new handle and reshape the shoulder. You could put a long handle in to maintain over all length. Or lob a bit more off with a really long handle and you have a 20/20 bat!!!

Give repairing it a go, what's the worst that can happen. If it was me I would use a sash cramp and try and glue the existing handle back on. Give it a go in the nets and keep your fingers crossed. If that doesn't work give what boondougal has said a go as that sounds a good plan

There isnt such thing as a long handle, they all come one size and its the shoulders which are cut lower to suit.
I've repaired something similar, all you have to do is cut the lugs off and glue in the handle and glue back in some donor willow and re-shape the lugs to blend into the handle. it wont really affect performance or anything.

At Uni so haven't had a chance, but have taken of the lugs/shoulders

Cant see your problem , the handle looks fine, just put a new blade on it.
