very nice, i like it. me thinks youll be shipping a helmet to me in no time.
-
Thanks Slogger bit more professional looking now with some content to it. Glad to hear your considering a purchase!!
-
What is the difference between mid and top range pads - they look the same.
Are the top-range, mid-range and traditional pads ambi because I cant seem to select a righy/left hand option.
More pictures of the gloves would be appreciated - cant see the thumb or the palms or the side bar protection!
http://www.ayrtek.com/webshop/product-details_9_premier-bat/ (http://www.ayrtek.com/webshop/product-details_9_premier-bat/) - spelling mistake - fines instead of finest
Otherwise a very professional looking, user-friendly website with good images of products and a large variety to suit all levels of the game.
Good going!
-
like it! very top notch ;)
-
Different levels of protection between the top and mid range pads but have the same appearance to them aesthetically. Just a different type of foam used in one comparred to the other.
Thanks for pointing out the grammar will have it amended, my fault for missing it in the first place!
-
Wow, that mustve taken a long time. Looks absolutely quality Ayrtek well done, hope it goes well next season. Lining up any players for all your gear not just helmets?
-
it isn't loading for me?
-
Cool website, have you got any PCS Premier helmets avaliable?
-
Site looks nice, if possible on the step 3 (checkout image on the webshop page) add a paypal image or mention somewhere paypal accepted...
Someone just surfing on the website will look at the pics of the credit cards and assume you only accept credit cards.
-
Website is a big improvement on the previous one its very user friendly and navigation is really simple. The gallery pictures of the customised helmets are fantastic! Love the Dehli Daredevils lid!
Only thing i would say is there are no profile shots of the bat . . .apart from that very professional
-
Much improved Ayrtek, easier to navigate. I like :)
-
Yeah he looks better as a lefty lol just got back from Glos county ground now and my first nets of the winter actually. thanks for pointing out the spelling mistakes end up blurred after seeing it so many times!
Will put my mind to work coming up with some new names for the pads/gloves range perhaps the forum members would like to contribute and the best names put forward may win a set of the product they have christened so to speak?!? hows that sound?
Getting around to uploading the other graphics but some more designs are on the facebook pages which we did for every nation in the world cup to show some possibilities.
Paypal issue is being resolved shortly as it needs organising by the website team as i said people look to use this method if they have funds in their accounts.
Bat pictures are being done of dome of the actual bats rather than graphical images but will upload them shortly.
-
Top of the range - Hurricane (Pro or Elite)
Middle Range - Hurricane (Club or County)
Traditional - Original
Would just use the Ayr (Air) theme play on those words ie anything associated with AIR
-
Thanks for your suggestions Dan, certainly something we will take on board and have a think about
-
Like Puma have their 'Flextec' maybe you could have something like that for yours, maybe top range-"Precision elite" and mid range-"Precision pro".
For the traditional pads you could have "Original" or "Classic".
-
For mid range - Precision Pukka Pads
Top end - Precision UltraLush Pad (or ProperLush)
::)
-
UltiTek / TopTek Pads for the modern top of the range?
-
do you think making "tek" in the name would make it too similar to Puma's Flextec?
-
Yeah Gm use Tek as well i belive its not like we havent had a think about the names previously they were the Cut when with CCC. Will have to have a good think about them but to be honest they would only really be used if asking ofr them in a shop or something as they are easily identified on our website as to which is which in terms of price and the no nonsense top, mid and club (as opposed to bottom as its not a term generally used).
-
I think its more than that though Tom, i think you have to consider when players talk about gear . . .when someone asks what model they are i think people like to hear a name rather than a description. For example you can still keep it no nonsense by calling the top - premier, mid - 5* and bottom - club. Its just my opinion . . .
Also i cant see from the pics but are they branded top, mid club on the pads themselves to distinguish them?
-
Fair point Dan and taken on board will have a look at this over the next week or so, the pads are branded with mid/top as its only the modern style pad that appears aesthetically the same so someone could pass off the mid as top if they really wanted too, perhaps a design feature we will have to incorporate to avoid this.
-

-
End of this month mate as were still in march currently :)
So you could have said next week to make things clearer;)
-
End of the month implies it the end of the current month otherwise I would have said the end of April to make things clear?!?
Either way hopefully a week away :)

I have to say that it looks fantastic, up there with the best (cricket) websites. A bling website with tons of info can only be a good thing, I hope it brings lots more business your way.

I never knew that you were in India
-
Part of our set-up is over there in terms of website construction etc very good at what they do as you can see :D
-
Ohhokay
But I will once again say its very good website now. it looks much more professional and looks really decent
Good job mate!
-
Hi Tom,
The old ones coming up on mine...:S?
Gareth
-
Which browser are you using?
-
gareth
may need to refresh the cache with F5 perhaps....if not no idea as wasnt expecting it to appear until tomorrow at which point the webteam would sort it out!!
-
I went on it ealier and nothing :'( tried predicting when it would be done
-
works on my lappy on IE and firefox at the moment both appear with the new website??
-
On Chrome and IE doesn't work for me :(
-
are you using .com joe as the .co.uk isnt working as yet due to web forwarding issues i think
-
www.ayrtek.com
-

-
(http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab312/JoeColes/ASyrtek.png?t=1272918931)
-
Doesn't work on firefox :(
-
few glitches then it seems...doh!
-
Bugger!
-
Just had a look through, looks fantastic! Softs look good and i love the spinny-helmet feature!
Great work!
-
had 2 go's at looking at it. First time I got the new website which looks brilliant! And second time I got the old website. Both on Chrome.
-
Most strange!!! Will get it sorted by the morning as have sent the details onto the webbies as this is out of my jurisdiction with all this website jargon :(
-
Looks brilliant! Great things on there! Like the use of bar charts to convey information...
-
seems to work for some people but not others at the moment which is odd :( glad those who can see it approve.... think were the 1st company to use 3d views of the helmets to give a potential custoerm a 360 degree view of the product
-
mongoose have it for bats, but first I have seen for helmets.
-
Ah cool are theirs ones u can rotate and zoom in on or just on a constant loop? Can't remember now what they have on their site but def the future of website based sales IMO as let's people take a gd look at the product without travelling to a shop etc
-
they rotate constantly but when you grab them with your mouse they stop and you can rotate them. No zooming though.
-
Mate....cool website. Congratulations. Love the look and feel of it esp the navigation...
-
excellent tom, a lot more freindly/welcoming that the old one, hope it brings you plenty of business
-
paul nixon wearing the ayrtek? awesome, great signing hes a big character
-
He was the 1st pro ever to wear one... Made it's debut in the ICL for the dehli giants...doing his new lid tomorrow to send him for this season actually :)
-
good for you to be associated with a more workman-like pro such as nixy as it gives the brand more of a reputation for being trusted (for want of a better word) to add to the modern edge it has
-
Was gonna say Tom. Didn't use one today! He's also stopped keeping aswell! I miss his loud 'grunt' like appeals with his gum shield in!
-
Smashing site Tom. I thought the previous design was good for a rising brand like ayrtek but this one is truly amongst the elites like kook and GM. Very easy to navigate and very professional looking
-
Pleased to say it is now working on my firefox and it looks brilliant :)
-
Thanks for the feedback people.....seems the .co.uk is up and running too now to forward you to the .com address......obviously people didnt work on bank holiday monday in the domain world to make the transfer :)
-
Just one other slight issue. When you select the bat shop, and choose different size, size 4 bats are £-20.00 and size 6 bats are £10.00.
-
craig yeh seems a bit cheap ;) still ironing out such issues but have pointed it out so hopefully they will resolve it now.
Cheers
Tom
-
Think it looks awesome Tom, a lot of hard work i should imagine!!! I'm still waiting for my ayrtek helmet to arrive, when it's here i shall sit down and think through a few designs.......unless you have a few gems that you would like to propose :D
-
Ill leave the design work to you mate ;) club colours seem to be popular at the moment tho as goes well with the shirts etc being worn!
Took a bit of work to get it up and running and still a few bits being sorted out but glad its finally up and running :D
-
just been on ... looks great.... i am thinking of getting a custom made lid of u not to long into the future... 8)
-
HUZZAH IT WORKS! :)
Gareth will be pleased ;)
-
lol yeh thought he would like the fact that his bat features as the one shown in the webshop!
Think they tweaked a few bits overnight to get it all sorted for this morning on both domain addresses :D think it works a bit better on IE/Chrome than firefox as messes up on my laptop when looking at it...more than likely due to my laptop gettin on a bit!
