Dear all,
Just received it today from Rob. I will provide details later on. Just a teaser-- 2 lb 9 oz, max edge-41 mm, max spine 66 mm. Just a few pics for your viewing pleasure. I applied shoe goo on the toe for a little protection, so that part looks rough and amateurish. :-)

That's a nice looking stick mate: I'll be keen to hear how it performs. I have gone off shoe-goo as it peels off too easily. I now use exterior grade PVA glue: it doesn't add any weight and is absorbed into the toe although I'm not how it would go on damp English wickets....
-
Love that!!!
-
Love the stickers, you've got a great bat there mate hope it goes well for you
-
But RPC bats are really expensive arent they?

No more or less than other smaller brands tbh. Everyone is priced high in the modern retail world unfortunately.
-
Nice stick there mate, lovely craftsmanship as expected. I prefer these stickers to the normal Blueroom one, has a class about it.
-
Mmmm...that is a yummy, can't wait to use mine this season :)

i second that. It is only as expensive if not less than other brands; I would say much less expensive that off-the-shelf company's top of the line bats.

Hi Tushar do you have any idea what the number on the shoulder represents? Is is the serial number of the LE's that were made this season?

Mine have had 2 numbers, 1 on each shoulder so I am assuming one of the number represents the bat # in that range and other is your bat#...so for example I have 5 on shoulder which was my 5th bat from Rob. Do you only have a number on one shoulder? is this your first bat from Rob?
After all that I would say it would be best answered by Rob, my LE definitely had a number on it when I got it 3 yrs ago, was stamped 4 as in 4th produced in LE

Bat looks lovely, and in my opinion, the stickers are the best looking on the market
-
awesome awesome bat..
-
Very nice, and big for the weight. Profile looks SSish, is it a copy of an old bat?

This is my first bat from Rob. And in the pic 4 you can see the serial number 6, probably #6 LE for this range in this season.

Not a copy. I agree it matches with full profile SS to some extent.

Hey Tushar, when does your net start? In Ontario we are still doing indoors. Hopefully starting from May we can go outdoors! :(
-
Nice bat there. Love the profile and looks big for a 2.9 bat.
Good luck and hope it brings you truck load of runs.

We just had another 10cms of snow yesterday :( and with all the snow on the ground from previous storms and temps still around -5 (although forecasted to be above 0 next week onwards) i doubt we'll have time for outdoor nets, were planning on starting the season early but I don't know at the moment. We also lost our indoor net facility last season so everyone will be very rusty, trying to find an alternate spot at the moment
this is the one i got, haven't used her yet but spent entire winter knocking and feeling it

In Kingston we have decent weather this month. In the next weekend we are expected to 11 degree Celsius. Hope to have some outdoor action. I feel for oyu mate. Last year it was pretty bad here. Your bats look lush, I bet they are absolute guns.

@i12breakfree I will let you know how it goes in the nets mate. It responds very well to the mallet indeed.
