Title: Bulk cricket ball suppliers
Post by: dougydee on April 09, 2015, 04:41:58 AM
Hi All, hoping someone on here has some contacts for purchasing quality practice balls (don't want any bat breakers). Looking to purchase by the dozen or 2 dozen. I'm in Aust so would need to be able to ship here.
Cheers.

2 piece or 4 piece?

Kooka do a zenith for about $17 a ball, they are a second and not bad for training.

Cheers for the suggestion. Looking for 4 piece balls. Looking for about 30 or 40 balls so $17 each ends up $510+
I was hoping to come in a bit cheaper than that with this purchase.

If you are looking at less than $17 per ball, which is about £9 per ball, and that's before shipping, your options are pretty limited.

There is no magic solution with cricket balls. You can buy cheap ones or you can buy good ones.

I've got plenty of options at that sort of price point, and for a bit less money too. The shipping will increase the per ball cost fairly drastically though. I could sell a ball for about £5 per ball plus shipping but to put it bluntly it isn't a great ball at all.

No chance, even a cheap Indian made 4 piece will be at least $30-$40 a ball, and they won't be great.

Cheers guys. Looks like I might have to bite the bullet with this one. 30 balls for the price of a nice bat.
