Hi guys,
Been lurking for a while but only deciding to post now.
I'm looking for a replacement to my Kookaburra Pro Combi Wheelie bag which I find is just a little too small for my needs.
Currently i'm carrying batting pads, 2 pairs of gloves, strippers, box, helmet, 2 bats and a pair of size 14 Adidas mid bowling shoes in the bottom section of the bag.
In the top section I have my whites a pair of trainers for artifical nets, boxes of cricket balls and a scorebook, as well as a few other bits and bobs.
Ideally I think i'd like something in the same design with 2 sections, but maybe one with a couple of pockets I can keep my sunglasses and suncream and other stuff in. But i'm open to suggestions, my budget is around £50-60.
Has anyone got any suggestions of the 'perfect' bag for me?
Thanks in advance :)

I don't have a solution for you but I'm looking for exactly the same type of bag so if anyone has any ideas they might get 2 sales

Hmmm ever thought about a duffle, Kookaburra Pro Players duffle would be good but if you're wanting a wheelie then maybe look at the Salix Pod Allkit bag

I'll second the Salix bags, if they can stand up to the abuse my son gives them with no rips or damage they can't be bad - current wheelie is three years old and still going strong. Can usually find them on offer somewhere as well.

Salix / Hits Hard bags are superb.

Thanks for the help so far guys.
I'd been looking at the duffle bag, but I wasn't sure how it would handle my 2 pairs of size 14 shoes as well as my other stuff. Think i'd prefer a wheelie for convenience but i'm always open to having my mind changed.
I'll check out the Salix bags, though I'm under the impression they could be above my price range?

Hi Geordie, I currently have the Salix Pod Pro cricket bag. Its has excellent build quality, and it's fits all of my gear easily. Think it costs around £56. I am a wicket keeper, so basically I log around, one pair of batting pads, three pairs of batting gloves, a thigh pad, one pair of wicket keeping pads, one pair of wicket keeping gloves, two bats, three pairs of shoes, and my whites. The only downside is that the bag has one main storage area, but it does have a separate shoe tunnel and a padded section for two bats.
Hope this helps.

We do both A duffle and wheelie bag. May need to check the boot pocket on the duffle to see if they would fit one pair of boots but both good sized and should fit all the kit in. Contact me if you're interested and I can send some pics over

@Gordie - Just bought a duffle couple of weeks back(TON duffle) for 20 Quid from Prodirect. Biggest difference is how easily you can carry a duffle compared to the traditional kit bag. But this has its own disadvantages. In the duffle, if you need to pick something out and if its at the bottom then its a bit tough. but for me best features would be storing it, carrying it and loading it. I do carry 3 bats(2 personal,1 team bat), Helmet, 1 pair shoes, whites, 3 pairs of gloves, 1 pair pads. This packs my duffle to the max. hope this helps

Thanks for all the help so far, really appreciate it :)
@Red Ink Cricket would you be able to send me some details of the wheelie bag across? You wouldn't happen to have the dimensions of it would you?
