Title: Maximus is here
Post by: i12breakfree on April 16, 2015, 05:46:07 PM: After looking at Rohit Sharma's adidas stickers during the world cup and the hidden maximus under that I thought of getting one SS maxiums
I have to say that these are top quality bats and ping really well
Here are the specs of what i received

Weight - 2-9.3
Edges - 40 mm
Pickup - very light
Ping - Super pingy
Grains 11 with slight heartwood

For sure the willow quality is good as its a big bat for the weight , not super soft as new ball is not leaving to many seam marks . It has a full profile , no concaving and thick toe.

Anyone looking to buy a top grade SS should consider the maximus

Not sure if i should disclose the price as that lead to my last thread getting locked by admins. The ping is good till where the X of maximus ends on the sticker.

that hurts ...specially when it happens to these pricey bats. we get these international level bats but ball quality is no where close to what is used at pro level.

To my fairly untrained eye I cant see that much difference - both have nice grains and full profile, but looks like the Maximus has a slightly higher middle with a less pronounced duckbill so may pick up slightly lighter?

I think you are right about difference in shape. this one has a better pickup than Master Series.
this one is not from OLS or Cricmart
