Hey Guys ,
i went to both my local shops yesterday and the only bat i liked was a £200 Puma 6000 but out of my price range.
So i was spose to be getting a bat & gloves for xmas my shops aint gettin kit in till January.
So shall i wait and have a look at Newbery,GN,GM & Kook or Get A Custom Made Solitaire Bat For Xmas ?
Ive just bought some Kook RP Pads so i thought Solitaire with Green Stickers would look Cool but a Kook Kahuna would look Sexy Aswell !
So i need advice...
Do I Wait to get big brand or get Small Brand for Xmas ?
Cheers

Don't just jump right in and buy things you may regret!!
I have been there before where you feel let downn when you have set your heart on buying things - it doesn't work out. So you feel let down but you are still in that buying mood. So you go and buy something now. And in 2 weeks time you wondered why!!!!
Stick to what you wanted originally. Unless you're minted!

probably G2/g3

So a Puma iridium 6000 (09) £165 OR Kook kahuna 600 (2010) £148

custom custom custom.... Buy the big brands and who do you think pays for the Ricky Pontings sponsored deals, the glossy ads in the cricket mags, the profits for shareholders? Yes you and the trade off is either cheaper quality bats at premium prices or mega hefty prices.
Buy from a decent handmade bat from a UK maker and you are supporting a small niche British industry and getting a quality bat from someone you can actually talk to.

Yeah im gonna have to agree with Jim . . . I used to shell out a fortune to big companies but for the past few years ive bought from smaller companies the quality of product is just as good . . .no actually its better and the service is a 100 times better.
Just dont be afraid of trying something new/different

What was wrong with the new Hawk bats?
-
Umm bats were heavy and looked terrible.
i think a Solitaire Cricket Bat will be in my Bag Next Season. and just maybe with these stickers on ??
