Title: Equal grains important?
Post by: icewolf on April 28, 2015, 05:37:47 PM
Hi guys,

A friend got me a bat, it's M&H international harrow size...it has huge huge edges 44mm, even the toe is 24mm and ball pings like crazy, has 8 straight grains but not equal distance apart, is that a bad sign?

A bat is a tool, made out of wood, for hitting a cricket ball.

Grains, blemishes etc are merely cosmetic, if it pings well who cares what it looks like?
We do like to over complicate things on here  ;)

whats OCD?

Compulsive Disorder Obsessive.
I took the liberty of re-arranging the letters into alphabetical order, the way they should be :D

Grains tell us more about the life of the willow the more grains there are the older the tree that said some say the more equal and straight the grains the better the bat will play but in all honesty how a bat plays begins with the pressing.
