Bought some new balance tc1260. And haven't used them as squeekiest pads I've ever had.
randomly spent the day annoying my family and neighbours last Monday in an attempt to wear them in.
neighbour said "leather conditioner for car seats will sort that"
So out came the meguiars. Soft cloth to spread on the bottom Inside bits. And buffed off. Left them for a day to dry.
returned and they were noticeable More subtle in that area. Whacked them on and wallah! !!
Not a squeak in site. Cheers random neighbour

Its not squeeky pads that bother me, its squeeky gloves! I'm getting more than a bit sick of them after 5 years of squeeking (yes, my gloves have lasted through 5 years of nets, games and general abuse, as have my pads).

brilliant. you could now release a "new", "revolutionary" cricket-specific product...like grip-grip
