i had one of these in a size 5 and it was an absolute gun of a bat, a big bat for a size 5 and really picked up nicely, anyone have one?

Harry I have one it's a harrow pro performance 12 straight grains clean unblemished face beautiful piece of willow picks up much lighter than its weight.
Lovely soft sounding ping from inch up from the toe to right under the sticker goes like a train brought it off EBay for35.00 in March it wasn't advertised as a pro performance but i spotted the tiny sticker it arrived With no damage butin a dirty state i formed the impression that it had been left lying around and it had been hardly used took the scuff off cleaned it came up like new oiled it applied new stickers once the scuff was off the ball seam created indentations due to the softness of the blade easily one of the best bats i have owned it is now my match bat.

I have one but it's broken, it cracked from the toe right up the groove on the inside edge. It was a gun though. I asked Gray Nicholls to copy it for me but they wouldn't do it for some reason.

sounds a decent bat, mine went like a train but was only the extreme version in harrow, they must have been doing good in the making of the xiphos, you got an pictures

I used to have one of these. I got it from decathlon and it was a mispriced pro performance. Unfortunately it weighed 3lbs and after a year of using it I had to go down quite a lot of weight. Went like a train though.

With that profile and those edges you can see why the bat is powerful.

My mates still got one, he sanded out the shapes on the bck tho

I used to have two.
Still have a pro one - unused. They have one hell of a middle!

The edges aren't actually that big on them, it just looks like that because of the grooves they put down the sides.
@petehosk I don't suppose you could be tempted to part with it could you?

Yes like all concaving along with removing weight it's done to give the apperance of bigger edges also the on the Xphos The grooves give the bat an excellent balance.

I picked up one last season and was very impressed with the pickup and size. Lots of wood in the hitting area. Edges were about 25-30mm from memory.
