" Since finishing at Derbyshire Aldred has been running his own cricket coaching business and has become the patron of the Derbyshire Disabled Cricket team. He has also embarked on the unusual career of handmade cricket bats."
He is new.

Heard of him yes, never seen his bats though.
-
same heard of him as a player, he was around forever i think, but never seen the bats

Look quite good bats to me...
Quite like the shapes on them.
-
When I was in India he was trying to get a press made which I tried to help him out with.
-
so he doesnt press his own bats right now??
-
Bear in mind this was 11 months ago that he was trying to get a press made, so he may well do.
Even if he doesn't it's not a huge deal, lots of batmakers don't press their bats.

agree not a big deal.. just wondering..
