Title: Squeaky Pads
Post by: iand123 on May 25, 2015, 05:44:20 PM
My Salic pads are extremely squeaky, I know this goes eventually with use but am I right in thinking that saddle soap can fix this?

@smilley792 made a thread recently and recommended a particular leather conditioner.

I attempted to use something similar but it didn't work and mine still squeak!

Meguiars pro class leather condition turned my new nb pads from a mare to a dream!

Thanks I did search but couldn't find anything.

Will look for it, where exactly do you apply it? I presume it's the bottom part of the lad that squeaks?

I applied a generous amount to the bottom 3 sections. Ones that rub on the shoes.
left for a while before buffing in. I then waited a day. And did the same again. No more squeaks
