One of our net wickets has an artificially high bounce - to the point where a spinner giving a bit of flight will have to be played around chest height.
It has been suggested that giving the wicket a large watering and then rolling will make the bounce truer, but just wondered if anyone had any opinions/advise.

I think some places use sand to lower the bounce sometimes.
