Title: Bowling/fielding spikes
Post by: Tumo on May 31, 2015, 09:50:59 PM
Alright chaps, very long time no post! I'm currently running. Pair of Adidas vectors from last year, and they are in a sorry state. They're pretty worn through and they're far heavier than I had hoped. I used to have a pair of Asics 335s but they're a bit small for me now. I've got wide feet, so most spikes will be pretty difficult to fit me. I've got no price limit, and I'm looking for a really lightweight pair of spikes. Any thoughts?

Cheers guys

Hi

Would it be worth getting a wider fit pair of running shoes (Asics E width springs to mind) and getting them spiked up?

I recently purchased a pair of the Asics Gel Advance 6 Spikes and they are quite wide fitting and SO comfortable! They are a nice and light pair of spikes, not the lightest out their but they feel great out in the field.

If cost is really no issue then I'd also recommend getting a pair of running shoes spiked.

Try an Asics outlet for last year's Advances @Tumo Mine were about fifty quid, I think.
