At first glance they remind me of shooze footwear, the blue ones anyway. Have to agree with you Leo, very nice.
-
Yeah liking your style too Leo . . .plus they are tennis shoes so they will robust enough . . . .hmmmmm
-
Wish it wasn't so expensvive to do it!
Shoes: £45
Postage: £5
Spikes: Around £30
Postage: £5
Hardly seems worth it!
-
Yeah suppose £85 for some spikes . . . .seems lavish!! But they would look mint:)
-
but i already have the shoes! looking a cheap option for some spikes now. hadnt thought of it before.
-
DO IT!!
-
Really qualtiy idea about spiking up trainers, how would they compare with some asics gels though?
-
how do you spike up trainers - you cant just stick them on the rubber soles. can you?
-
yep course you can, PVA does the trick....... or not.
no you cant musama, send your shoes to brian and brenda and theyll do it for you, dont know how they do it mind.
-
Couple of Questions: Who are brian and brenda? how much do they charge? Can I get any trainers spiked up? Where can I get spikes from?
-
From what i understand the roles first have to be smoothed off to get rid of the tread. Then a special took is used to put the spikes into a rubber compound. The thing is then sewed onto the shoe using an industrial shoe sewing machine. Obviously theses more to it, but there are the basics.
-
Brian and Brenda Jennings of Harrow.
£17-£30 depending on what you need doing.
Pretty much any although some of the ones with air pockets you didn't used to be able to. Find out from B & B.
Spikes can be bought from any cricket shop, although B & B actually do fit them in for you.
-
Oh dear, on my phone bad spelling. Meant to say, soles and tools where the random words are.
-
From what i have heard its nearly impossible to fit them yourself though. B and B are best people to send to as they have this machine that sews the soles on
-
Yup, i got a pair of asics trainers done they did a great job, was about £23 including return postage if i remember.
-
what do people think to these being spiked up?

Cricket shoes should be predominantly white in my opinion.
-
thats what i would generally say, but i might break the trend!
-
Quite extravagent! Might as well give it a go!
-
