Sooooo...
I have looked around and couldn't find a topic on this although I am pretty sure 1 is hiding just around the corner...
Anyway - I wondered how each grade of willow is decided and when broken down what does each grade mean. E.g Grade 1 superior willow, grade 2, grade 3 etc etc. I was after the information for ALL willow grades.
Cheers guys
;D

It's pretty complex, there's different ways of grading at each willow supplier and then a manufacturer will also regrade them. There's about 20 different grades also.
The JS Wright's one is probably going to be the one referred to as they supply 90% of the clefts to the market however again that's only a merchant grading system. The manufacturer of the bat will regrade the bat.
