Yes. New, unopened and untouched. UK version.

Not sure how much they retail for usually but £35 seems fair.

Is that a trick question? I've just said they're untouched and unopened so I can't comment on comfort.

Just go into a shop, pick out the nicest bats you see for your price range and choose which you like best, simple.
Title: Re: Kook RP Pads Review
Post by: musama91 on December 07, 2009, 03:02:11 AM
Remember this:

'A cricket bat is not a scientific machine, fine-tuned to perfection. It is organic, more work of art than functional tool. So, while the broad characteristics of a range may be similar, each bat will be different. Get to a shop, pick up a load of bats, speak to the experts and find your perfect weapon.'

I could possibly suggest where you could get a pair of brand new RP gloves at a fair price, think £30 is the price but don't bother to contact me unless your 100% buying, I'm aware Tom offered you a pair for £30 which you didn't take up.

LB, yes, the grip will be OK with the gloves, no problem.

Chill out with the questions mate, I know you are new to cricket and mean well, but its clogging up the forum!!!

I just PMed you, if you have any questions, just drop me a PM and I will try and help if you like to get you through  your first few weeks as a cricketer.

Thanks pumakid, From the images i have seen of the rps this year they look far more flashy than last years range, when looking at the recent aus wi test i thought all of pontings gear looked superb so why change?!

From talking with the guy i bought the pads off, he thought that they changed from Ricky Ponting because he was wanting more money, therefore they changed the name and tried to make them look different with slightly different protection and graphics.
Title: Re: Kook RP Pads Review
Post by: musama91 on December 09, 2009, 05:30:51 PM
no the incurza grip wont - its octopus for about 75% of the length and octopus grip is good but it shreds your gloves, whatever the palms are made from. Just get a ribbed/ringline/spiral/chevron grip.
Title: Re: Kook RP Pads Review
Post by: niceonechoppy on December 09, 2009, 05:31:54 PM
Ok, that sounds reasonable, after all why change the name of something that was selling very well like the rps were! Maybe theyre trying to hide something, like poor quality etc and that ponting maybe wouldnt want his name attached to such products. Only a guess.
