Title: Suggestions on decent set of thigh pads
Post by: 19reading87 on June 06, 2015, 08:33:20 AM
Gents,

I currently own a pair of Strettons and some p2s, however....

... I just can't get on with my Strettons, the inner thigh pad constantly moving and falling down my leg drives me in sane and no matter what I try with the outter I have to you re-mould it after every second innings!!

Now owning the p2s has always been great but having used the Strettons you get to appreciate how bulky the p2s actually are.

So with this, I'm after some suggestions on good outer and inner thigh pads.

Cheers in advance

Have you tried re shaping the strettons? Mine were exactly the same until I did it and now fit perfectly. There is a video on YouTube somewhere on how to do it

My strettons are shaped and shaped perfectly. Don't move at all.

I bought a pair of here for a team mate. Been owned by ayrtek and Simonmay.
They were straight and totally unshaped.  I shaped them for my team mate and they fit spot on.

Makes me believe people don't put in enough effort with them or lose patience too fast.

Had my Strettons for 6-7 months no problems at all with moving, a few team mates that use P2s borrowed them at outdoor nets and love them just a bit to pricey for them.

I have to re shape mine before every innings - gets annoying.

There could be a set of Strettons for sale soon on here...
