Hi folks,
I'm in line for a new set of Gray nicolls gear (bat, gloves and pads) but I can't make up my mind. I'm stuck between Oblivion e41, Prestige and Omega. Has anyone here used any of the above or have experience of them. What are your thoughts and opinions?

E41 is a nice shape
Prestige looks very classy
Omega is more in your face design
Personally I'd go for the E41 stuff as I like those softs the best.
-
Yeah the only thing that worried me about the omega is the shoulder concaving. I'm a bit worried about the pick up of the oblivion e41
-
Personally I am a massive fan of classic looking gear so I would recommend the prestige! One of my team mates has the bat and pads and he is a fan.

I have a oblivion e41 bat, oblivion test pads and legend gloves, looks smart and traditional, bat has a lovely shape with long middle, and softs give excellent protection. Couple of lads at club have prestige kit and again looks very good in terms of softs, both bats do appear to be ropey and sound not good but I imagine they have no knocking in done.

How would you rate it's performance? What's it pick up and balance like?
@RightArmLedge how does you tea mates prestige ping?

It's a serious bat, light weight at 2.8 and looks better than 99.9% of LE bats iv seen and plays amazingly well. Iv had I reckon 30 bats+ pass through my hands since buying this and I now have 4 bats only and my GN is one of those 4. Recently thought about just going to 2 bats and 1 set of kit but couldn't actually part with this set up of kit.

What was the middle like on it I've read that it has a narrow middle because its very concaved, what was yours like?

Prestige range has a nice look and is not too expensive

I have prestige gloves. Well impressed. But they are just the kaboom range without the colours on.
Team mate has the omega range. And if you can cope with the stand out colour scheme. You won't be Dissapointed. Very nice softs indeed.
Add to that, gray nics said that most of there pro's prefered and ask for the omega softs over the other ranges. Then you know there high quality (apparently cook chose omega over legend gear that gray nics wanted him to wear)

Omega pads are fantastic.

Yeah the omega stuff looks great in my opinion I picked up one of the bats which was feather like I'm just unsure about the shoulder concaving on the omega bats.
