In the nets this morning and a new ball caught the back edge of my bat and has left quite the dent. Wondering what opinion you would have on how to go about fixing it up or whether It is playable now with just a bit of tape. I don't really have any experience or knowledge in repairing bats etc as you can most probably tell. Pictures below:

Rub a bit of PVA glue on it, and try to make it so that the splinters will 'fit' into the the slight dent. Then let it set for a day, sand lightly and then put a bit of tape over it. Issue with taping it just like that is that when you remove the tape, it may pull out the splinters. Entirely cosmetic, but it is a bit annoying if that happens! Hope this helps. :)
