Retiring with 3 ashes series wins is not bad going. Wishing him well from where he goes from here!
-
brilliant player, bailed us out so many times counter-attacking down the order.
not many players win 3 Ashes series
-
be on some big money in club cricket soon i guess then!

Has been a long time coming.
Suprised he didn't call it a day after the shambles in Oz last year.
The moment Bairstow took the gloves and then Buttler got the call up it was inevitable Prior wouldn't play again.
Has been a very good player for England, a good gloveman and a batsman.
Be a long time before we have one of them again.

hes into cycling now mate and heading up a pro team so i think that will take up the majority of his time over cricket.
Struggled with his Achilles and the op turned out to be alot worse than 1st thought. Top lad though and was lucky enough to share and table (and a fair few beers) with him at the PCA dinner last Oct.

Good luck to him, he has been a great servant to english cricket, wasnt a great keeper when he first came on the test scene and turned himself into one of the best keeper batsmen in the world at one stage.
