Title: Mid Season Sale - Bats, Softs, Bags and Bundles
Post by: Red Ink Cricket on June 13, 2015, 05:39:18 PM
Having been told we are fast approaching the half way point of the season and being a little depressed by such news (and the terrible weather) i decided to cheer the CBF community and myself up by offering some mid season deals.

Bats - Receive an extra 10% off the forum prices which are mentioned below. they are already at an amazing price but the extra 10% makes them even more of a bargain.

X* rrp 255 forum price 195  SALE: £175.50
X1 rrp 225 forum price 175  SALE: £157.50
X2 rrp 180 forum price 145  SALE: £130.50
X3 rrp 135 forum price 115  SALE: £103.50

Middling bats are also available at £49.50 inc UK Postage (normally £55) which are made to the weight and middle position of your match bat. a great bit of kit and much better than using one way too light. ive made a number of these for forum users and they have gone down really well.

Part mades - we can offer all grades of willow so you can try your hand at bat making. contact us for details

UK postage for a bat or part made is £11. International postage will be quoted when required

Soft goods- Again we are offering a further reduction of 10% on the forum prices. these are available in mens, small mens and youths sizes in both RH and LH where applicable. Batting pads and gloves also come in white mesh bags for easy transportation to nets when not taking your full kit or for neat storage inside your bag

Thanks. I've hopefully covered most things you need in a bag. It's been pretty popular so far.

Pity I'd ordered a replacement duffle before I'd taken a really good look. Grr!

John, I love the look of the Sirius pads. A couple of questions please:
1. How heavy per pad pls?
2. What do they measure in standard men's size from the instep to the middle of the knee protection, and also to the top of pad please?

Never been fussed about matching kit until I saw the Sirius range, they have the right blend of elements for my taste... Modern in some regards, classic without being dull. Good looking without being garish!

They come out at around 955g per pad, they do have padded straps which obviously adds a touch of weight.

Instep to top of pad is 63cm, 45cm instep to mid knee

Thanks JC! How do the Pyro pads compare?

880g approx per pad. 45cm instep to centre knee and 63.5 instep to top of pad. Slightly less curve on the instep hence the extra 5mm

Thank you.

Sirius softs have replaced the le softs. They are a tweak on last years designs. We are having real issues with the website and updating it so not been updated for a while. It's something we are working on but are having to start from scratch after being let down on a couple of occasions

Just because you don't need one isn't a valid reason not to buy one.

Keep it for when you do need it.

Very tempted by the duffle. What are the dimensions?

Also a long shot. Do you have any of the small bags from last season?

I think a padded bat cover in your range would be wonderful, especially for us who are not in UK and cannot afford the high courier charges for your bags, pads etc.

Sorry only just seen this. Not sure why it didn't show in my unread topics.

Considered padded bat covers but there doesn't seem to be a huge market for them. I don't know anyone who uses one. Maybe something to consider in the future

Soft goods and kit bags still on sale if anyone is interested in an end of season bargain.

Looking for a bag with 2/3 bat caves along the underside, like the GM. Any chance here ?

No built in panels. Only ventilated when opened but that should be more than enough. Never really seen the need to it tbh. Could always leave a zip open slightly if needed
