Used to have a CA 5000 which was quite a powerful bat.
They tend to be good and powerful - some people get awesome ones, but the odd person i have asked has got a lemon!
So mainly good with the odd cr@p one is the general impression. Good value for money if you get a good one though!

The Purist tends to be a little more of a traditional bat - the opposite of the CA!!!

Where the CA has huge edges, the Purist has thinners edges. But the Purist (I have one in my collection) feels a lot more elegant!
Maybe the Purist would be used more by the claasic stroke-players. Whereas the CA is more of a power bat!

Does that make sense mate?

one is 2.10 round handle ,black bas stickers about 12 grains, the other is blank oval handle, 2.9 grip and half about 13+ grains ,i think? both brand spanking new still in the wrapper! picked them both up from the factory in india. i will send pictures if your interested

can i ask why these brands and not the rest? Profile or performance? I honestly have to say the BAS a team had was a nice chunky profile but didn't last a full season the BDM bats we have had are amazing for their pickup and have a really nice ping to them..
