After being made redundant from work, it bought if spend a bit of it on a new bat, well I have got 3 new ones.
Here's the first. Originally I was after a Salix off Chad but I went to Romida this week and found this.
Whilst on here the company has had mixed reviews, I tapped this and a few others and this performed as well as any they had. Good rebound, nice pick up, fair bit of concaving. Think this will be one decent bat.
Here's a couple of pictures, have kept the stickers hidden so you can have a guess at the company and the weight.

Nice duckbill isn't it.
Not a TON.
Think closer to home.

Not sure if it counts as “closer to home“ but Mongoose?
And weight 2lb 9.5oz.

OK so I've kinda cheated and went onto Romida's website and the only company who have coped some flak on this forum and are based in the UK is Slazenger.
-
Not a Mongoose or a Slazenger.
UK based, had "mixed" reviews on CBF.
They aren't on the website but they had 4 in stock at Brighouse Romida (3 now).

Bradbury?
-
A Newbury? Maybe kudos
Or
A millichamp and hall? Although I'm not sure they do a duckbill?
-
Bradbury?
Nope.
Not 2:9.5 either.

Chase?
-
Kookaburra 2.8 ??
-
Looking at the SS esque shape I want to say Puma
-
New balance
-
2:8 is close. That is what it was advertised as. With a Salix hybrid grip instead of the one that came with it, it was 2:7.6.
Not Chase, Kookaburra, NB or Puma.
All way too big and mainstream. We are looking smaller, handmade bat.
Brighouse is in Yorkshire for those that aren't sure.

I give up, Millichamp and Hall is my final guess

Kippax or redwood????
-
Jedi?
-
Lekka?
Norfolk?
MSR?
Steve who works in Tesco but claims to make bats for Sachin?
Hawk?
-
Nixon
-
aldred supreme. Mine looks a bit like that. Cancel that. It has no concaving

I'll quote my own post as it was ignored??
-
With the emphasis on the location, Kippax could be a great call? Doesn't look like one of Nicks shapes (Nixon).
-
Woodstock?? Hawk??

If it was a kippax wouldn't it have the big K holding a bat burned onto the edge?
-
Fusion?
-
I'd go for Kippax - I think the burnt image is fairly recent.
-
Jedi?
Boom. 3 points.

Taps up superbly. Was sceptical about them after recent comments but this this is a good bat.
£150
Same as you can get direct, at least I was able to try this out a bit rather than buying blond online. Two tapped up well, two seemed a lot harder.

The bottom of the outside edge, I sense the dark side.
You won't have to force the ball to the boundary with that.
The grains are straighter than a stormtroopers aim.
Sorry, now I've got that out my system I'll leave... :-[

The 2 lads I know who have them are impressed with them
