I have an Aldred Supreme which cost £175 posted. Butterfly 1 grade and its performance is excellent. In fact I am going to get an Aldred Spectre for next season as I'm so impressed with my Supreme. It has a high middle and weighs 2.12. However, picks up no heavier than a 2.9.
Give Paul a call.

If you are looking to spend £200 quid, you can't go wrong with any of:

B3
Hunts County
Red Ink
Blank Bats
H4L

I've used bats by all of them and all have been excellent.

I suggest you go with the SS Master series mate..
Cheap and good quality wise and big for its size usually.
You can visit the Sareen sports thread for more information.

We always have forum prices which is a discount for forum members and there is a sale on. To be honest £255 isn't expensive compared to some other brands but all depends on budget. £175 for a custom made bat is an absolute bargain!
