For almost a month, I was getting the itch/sensation of getting a custom made replica SRT cricket bat in his exact profile and weight which he used last. Also keeping in mind, this won't be my match bat as primarily for collection purpose only. I just wanted to see how does it feel having the 'Legends' bat in hand and why is it so special. I can proudly say my dream is complete and something to look forward and cherish it. I have contacted a lot of various bat makers who supposedly made bats for SRT by SS, RS, BAS, Spyder Cricket, BDM, & RNS etc. Most of these bat makers did not have sample pictures of how his bat looked like and some did which looked same and different. It was also obvious tht SRT did have a lot of variations of the shape over the years from weight 3.2lbs to 2.12lbs. I do have a few mates on CBF who have a huge collection of cricket bats themselves and got their opinions with the information I got from these bat makers. In the end, they all voted for RNS and most important was the price as the other bat makers were quoting me a higher price.
Replica of SRT cricket bat by RNS
Weight - 2.12
Handle - Standard and round
Edges - 41mm
Pickup - In between medium and heavy with average balance
Ping & Willow - Quiet good ping and medium to hard pressed willow
Profile - Full profile, nil concaving and a thick toe
Cost - 225$ with shipping
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you and enjoy the pictures!

looks fab; but i believe srt had thicker shoulders comparing to your replica...

But I can't recall Sachin using and RNS bat.
I remember seeing him use MRF and Adidas, so the bats must've been made by them! ;)

MRF & Adidas were his sponsors but the bats were made by SS, RNS, RS, BDM and BAS most of the time in the past. However, there were other bat makers too which I can't remember.

I will for sure mate ;)

Have liked the look of the SRT profile but always feel the pick up is a bit heavy for me personally. The bat does look good for the price. Issue with the smaller manufacturers is the consistency.

Yes you're right, the pickup is heavy no doubt. I am satisfied the way it has been replicated. Customer service not too great which is one negative point I have come across.

It's nice willow mate. As rightly said the shoulders on SRT's bat has got more meat. RNS is one of the oldest bat makers in India and SRT has been using them for a while. Saying that please write a review of your experience with the replica.

It's very very close to a replica and purely for collection purpose only. Contacted lot of batmakers and found them to be very expensive whereas RNS charged me very low.

I believe RNS and BAS were his primary bat providers for quite some time. This looks like a real belter. You need to take it out to the field mate.
-
I have seen SRT replica bats and yes they are thick at the shoulder too.

Yes ST bats do have thick shoulders and no doubt about that. But every batmaker can't make an exact precise replica of his shape. There will be few cms up and down.
-
I think podshavers could make the profile without a problem but Sachin would have had access to the finest lowest density available to mankind so they could make a bat at his dimensions at 3 pounds.
-
He used to use 3 pounds but then shifted back to 2.12 or 2.15 I guess.

That is awesome. I know Gaurav very well as he is one of the biggest cricket collector and you can see his collection on Instagram.
