Title: SS Master 9000
Post by: rahul_1987 on July 15, 2015, 11:56:07 AM
I have never heard of SS Master 9000 bat but the seller claims this to be top grade from SS and recently launched. Having googled a bit this seems legit and SS have this on their site. Has anyone else used this bat before? Any feedback.

Hi Rahul, afraid my review isn't very refined at the moment, will get back to it and edit it and add in all the vital things about it. :)

The Master 9000 is not made from the top graded willow.The top bats would be the Gladiator Elite and Reserve Edition.

Looks like someone is trying to make a quick buck selling bats bought on facebook to the masses on ebay. I expect it will be a decent bat.
For £175 you are better off speaking to a sponsor in my view so that you have some level of protection/after sales follow up.

£175 you say, is that not coincidentally the price of a G1 Hunts Custom from Jake @Vitas Cricket? ;)

@rahul_1987

I bought a Master 7000 from a supplier in india at the start of the season for £135 and I'm loving it. My review is on the forum under SS.

Looks like the eBay price for the one you have found is the same as the current price from India for a 9000, so not necessarily a great deal. Some sponsors have some really good offers at the moment so worth checking those out.

All internet bought bats are hand picked.

Someone has to go over to the shelf and pick one by hand to package up.......:::

I have a Master 7000 and I love the shape, and also the fact that it has a big knob at the end of the handle!

My bats all have a big knob at the end of the handle, but only when they're being used!  :D
