Title: My thigh guard...
Post by: moonball on July 22, 2015, 11:55:19 AM
Just wanted to say how fantastically well I've been getting on with my SF thigh guard since I got it for Christmas in 2013. Very comfortable and light, very flexible with the way that one can change the shape and use the straps, etc., you can really get a great fit, which I did after a couple in indoor sessions. Used it now for over a season and a half, really good fit and covers my thigh perfectly to the contour of the batting pads. And still looks brand new and offers superb comfort and protection. Add that to the superb customer service and communication, etc., bit of a winner in my view. You strap it on and simply forget its there - superb.

What possessed me to add this? A conversation during nets last night when various comments were made about it (as being worn on outside of shorts..). A top bit of kit in my view.

Good day bat lovers - wherever you may be.

I'm in the market for some thigh protection, but for both legs. Is this the same or similar to what you're talking about?

SF is short for Stretton Fox in this case (hint - look what section the review was posted in)

There maybe some snaps being taken next Wednesday actually, as I am playing in a Rep game against the RAF at Dunstable (shirt & tie job before and after the game...) - although of course the thigh guard will be below the flannels on this occasion, unless I wish to contribute to the "village" thread.  :D

George at Stretton Fox is a great guy to deal with, very helpful and the communication is top notch!
